Korissia, Kea (Tzia) Island
The settlement of Korissia, located on the northwestern side of Kea, is the main port and the most popular seaside resort on the island, due to its well-developed tourist infrastructure, traditional character and its proximity to stunning beaches. Along the port, there are many cafes, bars and restaurants where you can relax while gazing at the Aegean Sea.

Porto Kea Suites is situated at the edge of the port of Tzia island, Korissia. It overlooks the port, has an endless view to the Aegean Sea and is nearby the picturesque church of St George.

Porto Kea Suites is a complex of bulky buildings constructed on different levels, but it is presented as a unit, despite the different internal functions under which it operates. The various buildings of the complex present absolute continuity and are cohesively connected with narrow pebbled paths which guide the guests through the unique experience of Porto Kea Suites.

The use of stone in its architecture has been inspired by the rough rocky land which is a characteristic of the Cyclades islands. Stone, together with the use of wood, the clean whitewashed walls as well as the bright colors- bringing in mind the slate stone of Tzia- create a cozy atmosphere.

The above elements are met not only indoors but also in outdoor areas. Indoor areas are furnished with simple and modern pieces of furniture in the tones of white and other bright colors. The stone walls forming playful niches, the marble details of the decoration and the wooden roofs all add to the simple straight lines of the architecture.  Due to these characteristics, indoor areas are comfortable and spacious and breathe through traditionally built openings with a unique view offering peace and relaxation.

All these simple, natural materials have been used in a way which combines the modern aesthetics and the traditional style of Tzia island.
